Glass placed in the recycling bin in the USA often goes to the landfill; KLAW Industries is a Clarkson University startup that fixes the glass recycling system. Using advice from professors, the founders have developed a patent-pending process that can turn wasted glass into a partial cement replacement called Pantheon™. This process allows for the effective recycling of glass, makes concrete 20% lower cost, and increases concrete strength by 11%.
