Team “EarthEn” from Arizona State University, USA: The winner of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 - Global Competition

Sasin School of Management and SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited or SCGC announced the winner of the SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Global Competition, the longest-running student startup international competition under the theme, Striving for a Sustainable World.” The EarthEn team from Arizona State University, USA was the winner of the Global Competition and received H.M. The King Award Royal Trophy with a cash prize of US$ 18,000. The first runner-up of the Global Competition Round is the Decap Research & Development team from University of British Columbia, Canada. Team “Neocycle” from the University of Calgary, Canada, was the winner of the Sustainability Award and received H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Sustainability Award Royal Trophy with a cash prize of US$ 8,000. The winner of the 60–Second Pitch contest is Carbotech team from Putra Business School, Malaysia.

This year’s SCG Bangkok Business Challenge featured a total of 124 teams from 19 countries from 55 educational institutions. The final round recently took place at Sasin School of Management on July 10, 2022.

The list of winning teams is as follows;

  1. EarthEn” from Arizona State University:
    The winner of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Global Competition. They received a cash prize of US$ 18,000.
  2. Decap Research & Development” from University of British Columbia:
    The first runner up  of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Global Competition. They received a cash prize of US$ 5,000.
  3. Neocycle” from the University of Calgary:
    The winner of the Sustainability Award of SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Global Competition. They received a cash prize of US$ 8,000.
  4. Carbotech” from Putra Business School:
    The winner of the KBank 60-Second Pitch at SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin 2022 – Global Competition. They also received a cash prize of US$ 1500.
