Market for Alternative Investment is a business unit of The Stock Exchange of Thailand which was established on November 11, 1998. mai’s vision is to strive to be the right and efficient exchange creating value for high potential, innovative  venture companies in ASEAN. The objective is to create new fund-raising opportunities for high potential businesses and provide a wider range of investment alternatives for investors.


Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University

For the past 32 years, Sasin has provided a first-rate management education that strengthens people, communities and the entire ASEAN region. Together, Sasin and its friends have created a unique and influential model whose impact has proven lasting and significant.

In 2010, Sasin became Thailand's first business school to earn international accreditation by the Association to Advance the Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools. That same year, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), one of the world’s leading business education accreditation bodies, granted its prestigious EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation to Sasin.

Houston Technology Center Asia

Named among Forbes’ “Twelve Business Incubators Changing the World” and “Ten Technology Incubators Changing the World,” the Houston Technology Center provides education, support, and exposure to capital that entrepreneurs need to accelerate product commercialization. Through a cooperative relationship with HTC-US, HTC-Asia helps established Asian-based corporations to identify emerging technology start-ups very early-on, for joint R&D, licensing, acquisition, and international business expansion. HTC-Asia launched in 2014 in Thailand, Singapore and India, bringing the ecosystem model of HTC-US to Asia.

Kiatnakin (formerly known as Kiatnakin Finance and Securities Company Limited) was founded in 1971. In 2005, Kiatnakin began to officially operate as a commercial bank under the name ‘Kiatnakin Bank Public Company Limited’.  On September 11, 2012, Kiatnakin Bank Public Company and Phatra Capital Public Company Limited announced the completion of their merger to be “Kiatnakin Phatra Financial Group”, aiming to offer clients expertise in 2 areas -- commercial banking and the capital market -- to create  excellence in every practice of its core business and to provide the ultimate financial services to clients. Tesco Lotus

Tesco Lotus stores currently provide service to over 12 million customers each week through over 1,800 stores, (of which 150 stores are hypermarkets). Five different store formats are serving different needs of customers: Extra, Hypermarket, Department Store, Supermarket, and Express. Tesco Lotus exports Thai products widely through Tesco’s global network, and increased the export volume to 15 billion baht in 2014. Tesco Lotus employed more than 50,000 staff across the business, while over 500,000 jobs have been created through its network of more than 9,000 suppliers. The Tesco Lotus Retail Growth Freehold and Leasehold Property Fund (TLGF) has been listed on the Thai Stock Exchange since March 2012. With a size of THB 18.41 billion (approx. USD 600 million), it was Thailand's largest-ever property fund initial public offering (IPO). Tesco Lotus has a strong intention to create a good business environment in Thailand by buying and selling responsively with our vendors. Venture Labs Investment Competition (VLIC)

With aspiring entrepreneurs soliciting start-up funds from experienced investors, the Venture Labs Investment Competition (VLIC) simulates the real-world process of raising venture capital. MBAs from business schools around the globe come to The University of Texas at Austin each May to present their business plans to panels of investors. From among myriad offerings, one is selected the best new-venture opportunity. With a more than 30-year history, the Competition is the oldest operating inter-business school competition in the world.
