Market for Alternative Investment is a business unit of the Stock Exchange of Thailand which was established on November 11, 1998. The objective is to create new fund-raising opportunities for high potential businesses as well as provide a greater range of investment alternatives for investors. The maiís vision is to strive to be the right and efficient exchange creating value for high potential, innovative and ventures companies in ASIANS.

Sasin was founded some 28 years ago in a collaboration among the pre-eminent in Thailand, Chulalingkorn University and what were to become two of the leading business schools in the world Ė the Kellogg School of Management and the Wharton School.

This Sasin management education collaboration pioneered the use of world-class visiting professors, complemented by full-time Sasin faculty and other experts in Southeast Asia. Sasin launched the first graduate management programs in Thailand taught completely in English, and continues to provide world-class management education.

Kiatnakin (formerly known as Kiatnakin Finance and Securities Company Limited) was found in 1971. Later on in 2005, Kiatnakin began to officially operate as a commercial bank under the name "Kiatnakin Bank Public Company Limited". Kiatnakin is rated "A-" with positive outlook by Tris Rating Company Limited. This rating reflects stable business growth and strong capital base to accommodate volatile economic conditions in the future. The Bankís Capital Adequacy Ratio, as of 31 December 2011, is 15.42% based on Basel II. Total assets are Baht 189,327 million. Currently the Bank has 72 branches countrywide (including Headquarter)

Kiatnakin Group comprises Kiatnakin Bank Public Company Limited, Kiatnakin Securities Company Limited (Bank holds 99.99%), Erawan Laws Office Company Limited (Bank holds 99.99%) and Kiatnakin Fund Management Company Limited (Bank holds 60.00%)

The Bank ranked 3rd for Bank of the Year in 2011 ranking by Money and Banking Magazine from coming top in three areas including the Return on Assets (ROA), the Return on Equity (ROE) and the Dividend Yield rate. Additionally, Kiatnakin received SET Awards 2011 in "Top Corporate Governance Report Awards" category conducted by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and Money and Banking Magazine. Last but not least, it received an "Excellent and worthy as an example" score from Annual General Shareholders Meeting Assessment Program in 2008-2011, hosted by Thai Investors Association (TIA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Kiatnakin Bank has engaged in community activities under the "People Development for National Development with Kiatnakin Program". The Kiatnakin Bank Foundation was established on June 15, 2005 to encompass three areas : Education , Social Ethics and Immunity and Distress Relief and Charity.

Tesco Lotus employed more than 38,000 staff across the business, while over 500,000 jobs have been created through our network of more than 9,000 suppliers and over 40,000 jobs provided by our 14,000 mall tenants.
